The structure is composed by a steel mainframe and painted pa- nels of aluminum 5754 type, that has a very high resistance to external agents.

Thanks to this structure, soundproof cabin has a limited weight and an easy accessibility in case of maintenance services, also if installed in narrow places.

Cooling system

The cooling of the engine is based on a closed inner flow of coolant. The system is based on a cupronickel heat exchange seawater/coolant type, where the thermal exchange occurs between coolant and seawater. Two separate pumps contribute to the flow of the coolant and the sea water.
