EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Classic 120V Home Backup

The TITAN 5000 Classic is the straightforward, lower-cost way into EcoFlow’s expandable TITAN platform. It is built around the loads most families actually want first during an outage: refrigeration, lighting, Wi-Fi, televisions, computers, CPAP equipment and other 120V essentials.

You get 5,017.6Wh of LFP battery storage, 4,000W of continuous 120V output and room to grow all the way to 30kWh. The built-in TT-30R outlet also makes it useful for supported 120V RV connections. Just be clear about what this model is: it does not produce 240V power, so it is not the right TITAN for central air conditioners, electric water heaters or other 240V appliances.

Important: This Model Is 120V Only

The TITAN 5000 Classic supplies 120V single-phase power. It does not operate 240V loads such as most central air conditioners, electric ranges, electric dryers, many well pumps or electric water heaters. If your backup plan includes 240V equipment, choose the TITAN 5000 or TITAN 5000 Plus instead.

That difference is also what makes the Classic appealing: customers who only need essential 120V backup do not have to pay for output they will never use.

Can the TITAN 5000 Classic run 240V appliances?

No. The Classic is a 120V-only power station. Choose the TITAN 5000 or TITAN 5000 Plus if you need 120V/240V split-phase output.

What can it run during an outage?

Its 4,000W output can support a practical group of 120V essentials such as refrigeration, lighting, internet equipment, televisions, computers, CPAP equipment and compatible pumps. Add the running watts and startup demand of everything you plan to operate together.

Can it run central air conditioning?

Not a typical 240V central air conditioner. The TITAN 5000 Classic is designed for 120V loads. A compatible 120V window or portable air conditioner may work if its startup and running demand stay within the unit’s limits.

How much solar can the Classic accept?

Maximum direct solar input is 3,200W through one 30–250V, 16A MPPT port. Your array must remain inside the published voltage and current limits in cold weather as well as normal operating conditions.

How long will 5kWh last?

Runtime depends on the combined wattage of your loads, cycling behavior and conversion losses. A small essential-load group lasts much longer than operating several high-wattage appliances continuously. Capacity can be expanded to 30kWh when more runtime is needed.

Can I connect it to my home electrical system?

Yes, with the compatible 120V Smart Home Panel 10 and a properly designed installation. The panel can provide automatic backup and control for up to ten selected 120V circuits.

Can I use the TT-30R outlet for an RV?

The built-in NEMA TT-30R provides 120V power for compatible 30-amp RV connections. Total load must remain within the TITAN 5000 Classic’s 4,000W output rating and the connected equipment’s limits.

Is it safe to use outdoors?

The unit is rated IP20, so it is not weatherproof. Use and store it in a dry, ventilated indoor location within EcoFlow’s temperature and clearance requirements.

Do extra batteries increase output wattage?

No. Extra batteries increase stored energy and runtime. The Classic remains a 4,000W, 120V power station regardless of the number of expansion batteries connected.
