EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Home Backup Power Systems

The EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Series gives homeowners three ways to build dependable battery backup without committing to a fixed, oversized system on day one. Every TITAN starts with 5,017.6Wh of long-life LFP storage and can expand to 30kWh as your runtime needs grow. The difference is how much power, solar input and voltage capability you need.

This collection includes the 120V TITAN 5000 Classic, the 120V/240V TITAN 5000 and the higher-solar TITAN 5000 Plus. All three are designed for quiet indoor backup, app monitoring and optional EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 10 integration. That means you can start by plugging appliances directly into the unit or build toward an automatic home-backup system later.

EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Classic vs TITAN 5000 vs TITAN 5000 Plus

The models share the same expandable 5–30kWh battery platform, but they are made for different homes and different loads. The Classic focuses on essential 120V equipment. The standard TITAN adds 120V/240V split-phase output. TITAN 5000 Plus keeps that split-phase capability and adds more solar input, stronger single-leg performance and up to 10,000W of combined output when supported solar production is available.

Model Output Voltage Maximum Solar Input Best Fit
EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Classic 4,000W 120V 3,200W Refrigeration, lighting, internet, CPAP, computers and other essential 120V loads
EcoFlow TITAN 5000 7,200W 120V/240V 4,000W Whole-home backup with compatible 240V appliances and moderate solar charging
EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus 7,200W; up to 10,000W with solar 120V/240V 8,000W Demanding household loads, larger solar arrays and maximum TITAN performance

Expandable 5–30kWh Battery Backup

One TITAN unit includes roughly 5kWh of stored energy. You can connect up to five TITAN 5kWh Extra Batteries for 30kWh total capacity. This modular approach lets you size the system around the appliances you actually need to run, then add runtime later instead of replacing the original power station.

Extra batteries increase stored energy and operating time; they do not increase the inverter’s rated output. Choose the Classic, standard or Plus model based on the largest loads you need to start and run, then choose battery capacity based on how many hours or days of backup you want.

Solar Charging and Smart Home Panel 10 Integration

Direct solar charging helps replenish the TITAN during extended outages and can reduce dependence on the grid during normal operation. The Classic accepts up to 3,200W of solar, the standard TITAN accepts up to 4,000W and TITAN 5000 Plus supports two 4,000W MPPT inputs for up to 8,000W total.

For automatic household backup, pair the selected TITAN with the compatible EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 10. The 120V panel is used with TITAN 5000 Classic, while the 240V panel supports the standard TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus. A qualified electrician should complete any connection to a home electrical system.

Which EcoFlow TITAN Is Right for Your Home?

  • Choose TITAN 5000 Classic when your backup plan is limited to 120V essentials and you do not need central air conditioning, an electric water heater or other 240V equipment.
  • Choose TITAN 5000 when you need 120V/240V split-phase power, up to 7,200W of output and a balanced 4,000W solar input.
  • Choose TITAN 5000 Plus when you have a larger solar array, demanding appliances or want the TITAN model with the most charging and output headroom.

Not sure which setup fits your home? Add the running wattage and startup demand of your largest appliances, decide how long you want them powered and call AllProGenerators at 954-249-2314. We can help you avoid buying too little capacity—or paying for capability you will never use.

EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Frequently Asked Questions

Can every EcoFlow TITAN 5000 model run 240V appliances?

No. TITAN 5000 Classic is a 120V-only system. The standard TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus provide 120V/240V split-phase output for compatible household equipment.

Can an EcoFlow TITAN run central air conditioning?

The standard TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus are designed to support compatible 240V loads, including certain 3-ton central air-conditioning systems, when startup and running demand remain within the selected model’s limits. The 120V Classic is not intended for a typical central air conditioner.

How much battery capacity can I add?

Each model starts at 5,017.6Wh and supports up to five TITAN 5kWh Extra Batteries, providing as much as 30kWh of total storage.

Do I need the Smart Home Panel 10?

No for portable use through the built-in outlets. The Smart Home Panel 10 is used when you want automatic transfer, selected-circuit backup and compatible home energy management.

Can TITAN recharge from a generator?

Yes, when the generator provides power that meets EcoFlow’s input requirements. Generator size, waveform, connection method and charging settings must be compatible with the TITAN model.

Are EcoFlow TITAN systems weatherproof?

No. TITAN units carry an IP20 rating and should be installed or operated in a dry, ventilated indoor location that meets EcoFlow’s temperature and clearance requirements.

Product specifications are based on EcoFlow’s current U.S. launch information and may be updated before general availability.
