The TITAN 5000 Classic accepts 30–250V solar input at up to 16A and 3,200W. The included Renogy panel is rated at 40V and 10A at maximum power, with a 47.2V open-circuit voltage. Will one Renogy 400W suitcase charge the TITAN 5000 Classic?

Yes. The panel’s 40V operating voltage is inside the Classic’s 30–250V solar-input range, and its 10A operating current remains below the 16A input limit.

How long will solar charging take?

A 400W panel cannot deliver 400W continuously all day. Charge time depends on battery level, active loads, weather, temperature, shade and panel angle. The panel is intended for daytime recovery and maintaining essential loads rather than a guaranteed one-day full recharge.

Can the Classic run a central air conditioner?

Not a typical 240V central system. A compatible 120V window or portable air conditioner may work when its startup and running demand stay within the Classic’s limits.

Can I add more panels later?

Yes. Any expanded array must remain within the TITAN 5000 Classic’s 30–250V, 16A and 3,200W input limits in every expected weather condition.
